On Tuesday 10th December, we had a fabulous evening showcasing the amazing musical talent at Parkside in the Christmas Concert. Around 80 students performed to families with classic carols and Christmas songs featuring throughout the evening. Alongside musical performances from a range of musicians, we had dance performances, poems and a drama based on ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’.
Musicians of all abilities were on stage with solos on the piano, clarinet and cornet and group performances from the cornets, ukuleles, woodwind and guitars. Drummers and guitarists also performed their Christmas favourites, and our singers shared some beautiful renditions. Our singers came together for a medley of songs from ‘The Polar Express’ before the finale including all of our performers and staff of ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’.
Mrs Williams and Miss Gilyead were so proud of every one of our performers and can’t wait to start rehearsals again for the Spring Concert in the new year!
