Welcome to Parkside Middle School’s PTA webpage. Here you will find all the information you need regarding events being held and progress towards our fundraising goals.

Firstly, a huge thank you to all those parents who have supported us over the years through help or attendance at events, or buying tickets to send their children along to the many events we have put on so far. I hope you agree that huge fun is had by all who come along!

During our PTA meeting held on Wednesday 1st March 2017 upcoming fundraising events were discussed. The annual Summer Sizzler will be held at school on Friday 7th July 2017 providing fun-filled activities for all the family. In previous years, we have had an ice-cream truck, soak the teacher and a variety of games suitable for all ages. In the Autumn term, we are planning to host a Christmas disco for all year groups.

At the last parents’ evenings in March, there were representatives of the PTA present to discuss any questions or ideas for our school fund-raisers. We welcome any new members and are always excited to have new helpers on board with any fresh ideas.

Last Event
Another hugely successful Hallowe'en disco on Wednesday 18th October. Well done to Todd Hodgkiss, Ellie Smith and LaQuisha Esperon for winning best costumes.
Winner of the pumpkin carving competition was Sam Anslow in 6AY. Thank you to all parents that supported our event.

Other PTA Events
We held our amazing Summer Sizzler event this year on Friday 7th July which raised over £2,000 for our school. Soak the teacher once again made an appearance as well as a mini farm, inflatable slide and fun-filled games for all the family to enjoy. The PTA would like to thank everyone who attended and helped organise and run the event. It was wonderful to see so many families there, a real community event!

The Hallowe'en Disco for 2016 was a great success, with some fantastic costumes on show. Thank you to pupils and parents for their support and also to PTA and staff members who helped during the evening. The first prize winner of the pumpkin carving competition was Leighton Allsop. Well done Leighton! Miss Doherty
